Does anyone else plant Labor Day weekend?

Headed to the feed store on lunch so we can plant this weekend, youth hunt is in 3 weeks.

We're going to wait two weeks since its still so hot. We're going disc up for the final time this weekend. Primitive starts October 23 for us.

Hopefully I'll be able to get in the ground this weekend but I doubt it. Still gonna be too wet. Pretty much sucks.

But the water is up and the redfish are calling

We won't plant for another three weeks at least. We've found that deer like the new growth more than a standin field.

It is setting up to be a good weekend. Nice weather forecast for Saturday, tractor riding and beer drinking, LSU football Saturday evening, and BBQ on Sunday. I love 3 days off.
