missed most of the Thad Allen segment...caught the NOAA spokeswoman and Q&A. not much you can't get off of TD.
talked about how many scientists and teams of researchers are on scene testing water and air. still trying to determine if the berms will be effective--should make that call this afternoon. saw is stuck and BP is trying to figure out what to do next--may bring in 2nd saw if they can't get the saw unstuck....trying to make the cut as clean as possible to capture max amount of oil. still saying 20% increase in oil is possible after cut is complete. noaa has not found evidence that oil contributed to the deaths of the animals they have found so far...still doing tests.
