What is the best hibachi grill in baton rouge. Taking my wife out this weekend for her birthday.

Me too, but boy are their hibachi chefs hit-or-miss, personality wise.

I'm like 4/10 for catching the shrimp.

Sapporo was easily the best Hibachi chef in this entire city, but I'm not sure if he still works there.

Hibachi chefs can be pretty hit or miss at any location. The rule of thumb is to see one that's doing a kickass job for someone else, get his name from the manager, and put in a reservation to have him cook on a night that you're showing up. I know Ichiban will let you schedule a certain chef in advance.

Didn't Sakura change its name? I passed by it today. If so, do they still serve the same stuff?

Yeah, it's Asian House now.

Same food, they just added more Chinese dishes.

Whats the one on Sherwood? We had Lucky Louie and he was great. To much Saki, can't remember the name and I pass every day.

Not as good as Ichiban or Sushi Yama, but still good sushi. I've eaten there a couple dozen times, never tried any of the Chinese food, though.
