Mainly I am glad that V was renewed for 13 more episodes.
Just hope we can get more supporters for this show and keep it going. It seems like only a few of us on here watch it.
Flashforward was ok, I just got tired of it after about 5-6 episodes.
Fringe also got renewed which is also very good news
Edit: Fringe renewed

I like V and watch it regularly
however, I hope next season is its last season. I don't see it keeping an interesting narrative for more than two seasons. Once they beat the V's, what is there?

Glad to see it renewed. This could be a good 3 or 4 yr show, imo. So many storylines to develop still and I'm glad they're taking their time with it. Still got to have the arrival of the other ships, occupation, see how the resistance grows... just wayyyy too much storyline for it to end after two yrs.

I actually feel the total opposite. I think there is 2 years of material max. None of the storylines are very engaging and make you think wow I can't wait until next week. V is a show that I would not have been upset if it was canceled.
I am however disappointed that Flashforward is canceled, although that is another 2 year type show.

Stopped watching V after a few episodes. If the aliens have been here before then why do people not remember them except for the resistance? FF is a better show than this crap.

They came covertly, like they are the ones behind UFO sitings/abductions.
I like the show, but I can't see it going on for a long time. Unless the V's take over and the show becomes about a larger, more engaging resistance.

So the original series bunk.

I think the series run should be intentionally short on this one. Follow the British model. Do 20 good episodes and wrap up the story.
I think V is losing viewership due to apathy, because the show is falling into some of the same plot devices you always see in sci-fi. Namely, the aliens-who-look-just-like-us syndrome. Who's a V? Who's a human? Who cares?
There needs to be mmore uniqueness, I believe,

Both shows suffer from "trying to be LOST" syndrome, without having nearly as interesting characters.

because LOST invented the sci-fi serial?

You do remember there are a few hundred V ships on the way, right? If they keep it similar to the original, they'll take over and start harvesting humans and resources and there will be a larger resistance.

fuuuuuuccccckkkkkk--so no ending to flashforward?

As long as V is running strong with its story and not getting stale, then there would be no reason to do a 2 season intentional wrap up.

heroes and flashforward both canceled
what a bad day for my favorite shows

What about the half breed baby? I never saw the original so I'm not sure if this is from the original also.

V is OK. I like Elizabeth Mitchell a lot but to be honest I would like to see a reunion with some of the other LOST actors in another innovative series.

Flash Foward had so much potential, shame the writers blew it
