Does Chavis go to Tenn?

If Tennessee offers Chavis the Head Coaching job?
Does he leave LSU for home?
In my opinion, I think he would for few reasons:
1) Close to home
2) More Money
3) Head Coaching position

Now this is a good question.
I dont know, Id think if he was offered he would be gone tommorrow.
Cant blame him.

if they offer he is gone.. HC position > DC

Under current circumstances I think he would be better off at LSU for now. Why become HC for couple of years to watch the entire program collapse?
That's what is going to happen to Tenn.

I was just thinking about this, and was about to post something similar.
He is long overdue for a HC job, and Chavis being the HC at Tennessee would just make sense.

You never know now. These Athletic Directors are funny people.
I bet alot of people at Texas Tech, would have probably thought that the administration would have gone after a more offensive minded coach. I mean Tuberville is good, but well I guess we won't know till the season starts...

well see, if so, I just hope we hit a grand slam in hiring a DC and not hire just an average one. Muschamp????LSU coach in waiting >>>>>>>> Texas coach in waiting. in my opinion any way

I don't think they'll offer the job to Chavis, but you couldn't blame him for taking it.

I can't see him getting the HC job but I think its a possibility he could go back as dc especially if they hire an offensive minded HC.

A 60-year-old career coordinator hired to resurrect the Tennessee program? Don't think so.
