season: Hard season, offense bad all yeah. Skill talent but hard to watch. Didn't play RS. Underachieving team.

will someone be a fallguy?- Les fault but Crowton coming back. LM hired Gonzales is a comment on GC. No other changes to come

GG: JJ has the skills but is poorly coached with bad gameplans. Ciron Black shouldn't have been All-SEC. OL was average at best. JJ not coached well, esp during game.

Les brings Gonzales in to prepare him for OC a yr from now if Miles is still around. LM can't go get a good OC right now. No one wants to hire GC

Would you want the OC of the 112th-rated offense, misusing top-10 recruiting talent, as a coach on your team?

see now, this is plausible. not "Tyke's still coming, BG to OC!"

Why would we care if anyone else wanted to hire Crowton? His perfomance this year is not worthy of getting another chance. Run him off. His next job is not on the list of things I care about.

LSU won't fire him this year because they'd have to pay him some stupid amount as a buy-out I think.

We just don't have a coach with that killer instinct. GC should be fired by the University. If Miles doesn't like being end-arounded,then he can leave.

Who was the last asst coach that has gotten fired. To my recolection all the ones who have left have, 'moved on to other opportunities'.

callers says:

saban left late brought Miles here

bad call vs UF, LSU in that game

bad replay vs Bama, in that game

official vs OM should have been 3 seconds, LSU in that game

GG: Miles was best option of head coaches. Mistake by not interviewing Jimbo.

LSU could have won Bama game. Rare you lose starting RB and QB in same game. JL not driving down field vs Bama

Future of LSU: GG says talent still there. Recruiting is solid. Problem is player development. Sideline management, if Gonzales can help, Chavis was good hire. LSU like Saints the last two yrs. Miles has entered the Ron Zook zone. Still enough talent to be contending for titles if they get it together

Pretty much spot on everything.

GG says Mack Brown beat Pete Carrol when he was on top. talking bout NC. host making reference to GG not liking Saban

I thought they at least gave him a token interview. but I don't think Saban even pushed for him. was probably too busy trying to put Bobby Williams' name in the hat.

Les isn't firing anyone. If they can't get another position, they will be here.....

GG said they didn't talk to him at all, which I did not know.

Didn't they put the "has to be a head coach" label on the hire?

This. If it's a money issue, that makes less sense. What's the net loss of Crowton's buyout when you factor in that you had to hire a babysitter for him?
