Need a Monday dinner, Tuesday Lunch and Dinner and a Wednesday Lunch either in S.A. or on the drive up to Fredericksburg.
I have been to La Fonda, Rosarios, Casa Rio, and Mi Tierra. I recall liking La Fonda the best. It has been over 10 years since I have been to some of these though. I also ate the the San Fran Steahouse when I was kid (this is the extent of my SA experiences)....
I am strongly considering upon offshore's suggestions...Liberty Bar, Silo, and Beto's.
I am also looking at Paloma Blanca and La Reve (not sure I want to be that dressy in S.A.).
We are staying on the Riverwalk, but will be very mobile for all but the Tuesday lunch when we will be downtown.

Not dressy from what I recall when I lived there. Silo is legit.

I meant La Reve...sorry.
Everyone is throwing around the Silo love...right now its number one on my hit list....I do feel obliged to get good tex-mex while I am there though.
Is there any great authentic places like Hugos there?

I am sure there are but I am out of the loop having moved back to Houston in 03. I will see what I can dig up. Silo is good and the building it is in is really cool. There is a big bar area downstairs and you eat upstairs in the silo.

Paesano's, Reggiano's, Saltgrass and Texas Land and Cattle are all pretty good. I was at these restaurants a few weeks ago.

Paesano's is good! Forgot about that place. Is Reggiano's the place on Stone Oak? If so, its really good too.

Used to live in San Antonio. Have eaten in all but 3 of the restaurants you list. I like another one better, not on your list......LaScala (lunch or dinner). Here's a link.

I'm not sure the location of Reggiano's. If your looking for a place to just kick back and have some drinks and good food you can also go to Yard House at La Cantera.
