No one really knows anything, its all speculation, go back to the first page and read the article at the link, that's the most anyone really knows, apparently just an internal investigation at this point so its hard t determine what repercussioins might be

As long as we didn't give his family free rent valued at $800,000+/- and we didn't have Glenn Dorsey on a telephone conference call assuring him that we would not be on NCAA for providing extra benefits to players family, we should be okay with the NCAA. With regards to LSU's internal investigation and subsequent punishment, we can always take away on scholarship for this year and we only sign 27 instead of 28.

They said it was a player that has not competed yet at LSU.

The player never attended LSU, he was recruited by LSU and did not come here. The reason he did not come here was because of the recruiting violation. I promise you this player has never been on LSU's roster.

The player is at LSU and on the team, he just has not played.

Nor should they at this point. With the current economic state and the financial condition of the university - it sends the total wrong message for TAF (or whoever actually pays his buyout) to just throw away money.
