Are we good enough to take on Bama and their Refs?

I know we were good enough to take on Bama but the refs too..might be impossible. Remember in 2007, we had a huge lead but wasted it and so when Bama got close...lots of penalty started to fly our way. Took everything we had to win it cleanly and flawlessly.

Think we can do it again?

Yes. Add in the fact that the Ref's have been taking a beating this year, and hopefully that will make the home field advantage that much smaller.

Are we good enough to not make excuses two weeks early?

We're 10-4 at Bama since I was born. Throw out the records and all logic for this game. Anything can happen.

STFU with all the ref talk. It sounds like you are already making excuses. Just line up and play

Well...the way I see it-don't allow the refs to be a factor. But if enough attention to the concern of poor officiating is made public, it may cause the SEC to address it. I just hope enough of us set the DVR's so we can see for ourselves!!!

Valid concern considering the way LSU got fricked out of wins in Alabama in 2007 and 2005 and 2003 and 2001.

Oh wait....

My main concern is the fact that the Alabama defensive backs constantly have their hands on the opposing receivers. This happens way beyond the line of scrimmage, and holding is never called.

Slanted officiating can have a huge impact on a closely fought game.

Ask the Vikings.

Refs got to feel better after Spineless Slive scolded Kiffen for complaining about home-cooking this weekend. Should embolden them to have at us in 2 weeks. At least they will be well rested since they have such a short drive from Birmingham to Tuscalooser.

Haven't seen a bad call all year if you don't figure in the sling shot grab by Fla's reciever.

If you win it's because you are the better football team. Just like in 07. This ref stuff is out of control.

Don't forget, the announcers are against us too. Dear Lord, this is why I hate LSU fans.

How in the hell is that possible? Whatever a team does, the refs can always just drop a flag on the ground, which makes them a factor. The only way the refs aren't a factor is if they choose not to be. There is nothing a team can do not to "allow" the refs to be a factor. If the refs cost you a touchdown in a game you lose by less than a touchdown, they were a factor.

That being said, I'm not assuming the refs will screw us in Tuscaloosa, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

I have lost any faith in that possibility. The SEC is so corrupt to its core that I really doubt it would ever listen to public outcry.

With all the Headlines, the game will be called as fair as possible. There will be some missed/bad calls, but they are human.

The better team will win. Nuff said.

Nice.

Dude you gotta stop talking about this. If you don't, the SEC front office will get a hold of you, for bashing our sweet arse refs and fine your butt.

Signed,
Lane Kiffin
