He would have loved to have run it up. That is a testament to the Defense. If you hold the number 1 team in the country to 13 points you are supposed to win.

Guys, while they were in obvious control, to think Urban didn't want more points and serve a death blow is plain fricking stupid.

Tebow's completely unnecessary long pass that was intercepted by Eugene is proof of this...He was going for the jugular.

Unlike some coaches I know Meyer doesnt play not to loose. He plays too win and by as much as he can every week no matter the opponent.

ahhhhhhh, really? Some simple stats.
37 mins possession for UF to 23 for LSU
1 punt UF for 4 LSU
22 UF first Downs to 12 for LSU
Total Yds 327 UF to 162 for LSU

Explain to me how LSU should have won?

Florida lines dominated on both sides of the ball.
Had Tebow been 100 percent the game would not have been close and you would not have seen all of those dives up the middle.

LSU needs to do something to toughen up its linemen.

I was for LSU but the game was not as close as the score.

The game may not have been as close as the score, but it was still very winnable. We COULD have won with maybe one more break or two, but SHOULD we have won? NO. We could say the same thing about last week against UGA, but the roles reversed. Statistically we dominated, but still could have lost very easily

Unless we win out, we aren't going to play in Atlanta this year. I am not sure what anyone has seen from this team to make them think we can win out, or beat Alabama for that matter.

Don't pretend florida was just trying to get though the game. They went for it on forth in the first half. missed a field goal. threw it deep and got picked off. if they were playing conservatively it was because they were scared of out defense

Florida played vanilla. Next go around wouldn't be as pretty considering a healthier tebow. We are not going to get a chance anyway so who cares.

"Florida played vanilla."
"They were only doing what they had to do."
"It could have been a lot worse."

I've been hearing a lot of that on the Rant. So they play Kentucky two weeks earlier and beat them 41-7, but when its time to play the number 4 team in the country, they decide to dumb it down and do just enough to get by? Really?

UHH I don't think this coaching staff nor its players want to see anymore of UF this year. It's one thing to consistently move the ball up and down the field on a defense. But, To run the SAME play over and over and over again with great success is ABSOLUTELY demoralizing. Once UF scored a TD, the game was over. LSU could not put together a drive to threaten them whatsoever.

Our offense was laughable most of the night. Why did we even look to the sideline for plays, once their defense set and the play was signaled in, it never worked anyway. LSU's offensive problems extend to more than just the O-line. JJ is learning but he also plays a role by holding on to the ball much too long. Also, the protection that's being called does not always match the play signaled in.

Long story made short, I think this team should lick their wounds and move onto teams like Aub and the likes. We are no longer the ELITE of the SEC. UF and Bama are now the standard by which we are being measured. We can attain that level, no doubt, but this year we are just not in that class. I have no confidence that the offense will get much better. Remember the season with all the penalties? The staff spoke to no end about how it would change, IT DIDN'T! We won the title though.
Then last year the D was putrid and we CONSTANTLY was told it would improve, IT DIDN'T! This year our running game has been piss poor and NOW the entire offense is sputtering. We will be told every week that the offense will improve. Every week we will read at great length about how Miles liked practice and they showed a "WANT" to get better and blah, blah, blah. I've seen this show before so I know the plot.

Love my tigahs but Miles waits entirely too long to make changes. Maybe JJ would have been better prepared for UF Saturday night had he been given more PT last year when JL was struggling.

Tebow was 100 percent, wtf are you talkin about? if he is cleared medically that means he is 100 percent, LSU's lack of offense is what cost them the game, LSU defense did a good job bottling up Fla except for some stupid plays like Hawkins incompetentence in letting a WR that is slow get behind him, and Tebow dancing his way out of sure sacks, don't know how the DLine managed to miss that guy. unbelievable.

Tebow was cleared to play, but if you think the Florida play calling with all of those dives up the middle are typical then maybe you have not watched the Gators play a lot of football.

Tebow may have been 100 percent healthy, but he had just had a serious concussion. Believe what you like, but in my opinion Urban Meyer did not turn Tebow lose.

But hey, it was only a 10 point win. That is what the books show. And LSU can show it was a fluke by beating Bama, Auburn, Ark., and Ole Miss.

Certainly plenty of time for redemption.

Florida started off with a conservative game plan and it only got more conservative after they scored the only touchdown. It was plain to see JJ and the offense were struggling and probably couldn't score. It really doesn't matter because neither LSU nor UF can beat BAMA this year!

I mean come on crap like this has to stop....we put 1 drive together and its a field goal game...they would have scored if they could have...the D stepped up that is it

I hate to break it to you but you were never in a position to win and we would beat you 10 out of 10 times. I'm not saying it to sound arrogant, it just is what it is this year. Your offense is horrid and frankly, we played as conservative a game as UF has played in maybe 30-40 years. You got lucky Tebow was hurt and didn't practice for 2 weeks.
