So, being #7 in the first BCS standings (on Oct 18th) isn't in title contention? We will still control our own destiny in the SEC title race and national title race into November, FWIW.
Not saying we'll win either (that's doubtful IMO), but if you're wanting to be in contention for championships, well...um, you/we are.

Solid assessment. And I too believe that if Saban was at the helm...we would be a better team. Not that Saban is a *better* man than Les...just a better coach. (and I don't know why 
).
I'm still hopeful...with the D getting better every game, that Crowton will get the drift, and have a heart to heart with Les. They have got to open up the field with Shepard (NOT AT QB...he aint ready)...with an option to get to the outsied and pass. Damn shame. We could have won that game.

This is the dumbest post ever. LSU does not and will not control shite on the football field until someone snatches the 3.6 MILLION dollar per year contract out from under an incompetent coach.
