The only way we can beat Florida .....

.....is if we them Florida by 3-4 touchdowns. Sure, we can win the game, but we will not have beaten them.
If it is a close win here are the reasons the media will say why we won
1) Tebow plays--> Tebow was hurt and if he was 100% the game would have had a different outcome
2) Tebow does not play--> Brantley was in his 1st real start and played well enough in a hostile environment but he's no Tebow (Even though he is hyped as 2nd or 3rd best QB in SEC)
If we lose (barely or otherwise) then we will be considered terrible by the media because
1) Tebow plays-->he wasn't 100% and they still won. He is great.
2) Tebow doesn't play--> See even their back up could beat LSU.
The only way for people to say we are good is to beat them bad enough so that it will be known that even with Tebow at 100% they still would not have won.

I think the winner will have more points and the loser will have less. Moral victories and losses mean nothing.

It will be difficult for LSU to win this game in the eyes of the media.
Luckily the media (at least the AP) doesn't directly contribute to BCS rankings.
Hopefully the coaches (who actually cast their own votes) will accept that injuries are part of the game and would not degrade an LSU victory in their poll.

The team that scores the most points has the best chance of winning...or so I have heard.

The coaches would also be more apt to thinking (correctly) that one man does not make a team.

I've already said this, but your original post means shite. Who cares what "they" say? If, and that's a big if, we win, we still have OM, Auburn, Bama, Arkansas, and SECCG. Take care of business and things will fall into place.

If all you care about is Ws and Ls then you are correct.
But, if you also care about BCS rankings then that statement may not be entirely correct. Since 2/3 of the rankings that decide which teams play in the MNC game arr more subjective than objective moral victories and losses do mean something.
The disparity between the treatment of dfferent schools (USC, Notre Dame, etc.)that is discussed over and over on this ste indicates that.

If we win, I couldn't care less what everyone says. From what I've seen of this team this year, any win is a good one, especially if it over a top 3 team.

It's sad when the standard for being a good team is set by one player on another team.

While I couldn't care less either it doesn't mean that what others think doesn't matter.
While several ahve posted similar sentiments in this thread and are more therads devoted exactly to what others think about LSU's win over Georgia.
It must matter to someone to elicit that many responses.
