I'm really not. I was at the game. The defense played a virtually flawless first half.

Les Miles even acknowledged during his press conference that the first half of the UGA game may be the best defensive performance he has witnessed at LSU:

"Well, the last game we played, against Georgia, I felt like our defense probably played as strong a half of defensive football as I've been around. That's flying to the ball, making tackles, tackling crisply, guys going down fast, covering the pass, sticking on the run ... I think ... there's a culture of great defense here, and our players understand it and understand what it takes, and they want it. They want to be a great defense, and so they're playing better."

The defense was outstanding in the first half against GA. The O was too- they just couldnt finish drives.

But GA is not a top-tier team.

5 games in, at home, with the game no longer a must-win (ie we still control our destiny in the West with a loss), Miles will pull out all the stops.

That could make it a right-down-to-the-wire game, or it could blow up in our faces.

But I think if we play at the level we have up to now, we lose by at least 14.

Let me get this straight....LSU has played 5 games. The defense was dominant in one half. That means they have been non-dominant (at times terrible) in the remaining 9 halves. The defense was just as bad in the 2nd half as they were great in the 1st half.

And the fact that you're backing your opinion with a Miles Statement is, well, not very credible.
