I am sure there are other non-stat driven qualitative factors that will paint the picture leading up to the game this week-end. I'll be interested in hearing them. What say you?????

No, I am afraid that is not even remotely the definition of that word.

LSU dominated that game for 3 quarters.

Drove down field like they were the only team on the field, and shut down UGA's offense.

The only concern I had coming out of the game was the inability to convert that dominance into TDs.

Just watched the game again. My observations:

The option play is terrible for LSU

Jefferson stares down his receivers. Has a strong arm. Threw into double coverage a few times.

Tolliver is a stud

UGA's run game is lost without Moreno

Scott looks good.

The hurry up for LSU is not ready for deployment yet.

Red Zone offense is a problem for LSU

There is a reason Stafford was the starter as a freshman

I wish AJ Green was on my team

LSU had -14 rushing yards in the second half at the 8 minute mark in the 4th... Is that jelling?

Dropped passes are a problem for LSU

AJ Green is a stud (did I already say that?)

Celebration penalties were complete crap... What morons!

I skipped most of the second and third quarters when I rewatched it a few seconds ago. Not much good for either team during those periods.

WTF anyone getting tired of the Refs winning the game for LSU.
WTF what about the fact that UGA only had <50 yards offense for the first f...ing half
WTF what about the fact LSU also had a dumb f...ing penalty after we retook the lead. UGA had 46 seconds. We only needed 26 to score.
WTF what about the game ending interception. Getting NO play

All you LSU haters go jump off of a f...ing bridge.

You should have used at least one of the Green lines to remark on the awesomeness that is Peterson.

LSU did pretty decent in the 2nd quarter.

Well if you want to selectively pick parts that help your argument...you are just a moron.

"Jelling" is a present tense verb. It means it is still happening. We are starting to see an upswing in performance where the team is playing to their talent finally.

That is all was being referred to.

How many points did LSU score in the 2nd quarter?

And you're absolutely right. Peterson is a stud.

I think LSU had like 6 offensive possessions in 3rd Q. And first 3 plays went neg 35 on sacks. Once again - lies damn lies and statistics - you moron - that is the title of the thread.

If you take the part of the game where LSU had negative whatever yards and base your idiotic analysis on that, then yes - you would conclude that LSU is not jelling as a unit. However, if you look at the fact that LSU, other than that period - had something closer to 190 yards rushing, you would realize your argument is completely worthless.

Like I said, my main concern coming out of the game was LSU produce points.

That game should have been ~30-14.

How is does that make it any better?

A larger negative number added to a smaller positive number results in a negative number. Therefore LSU had -14 rushing yards.

BTW... It was a loss of 1, loss of 7 and loss of 8. Hardly 35 yards.

Really, Gaterrocks, that is not a bad summary. Come back and summarize the Florida-LSU game when it is over. You will be surprised to discover some of the same weaknesses LSU has shown in all 5 wins will come up in the game with Florida.

Heck, you may even be griping about Teebow replaced with an inexperienced quarterback or the refs or the grass blades tripping players or the stars not being aligned just right.

Your analysis, though, will have the same conclusion...LSU wins the frigging game. That's it. We win. The final score is what counts. You will come to realize that Saturday night...or maybe Sunday afternoon when you wake up with a hangover asking "What the hell happen in Tiger Stadium Saturday night?"

It's simple. We Win!!!!!!!!!!!!!
