Breath test at gate
I've never attended an LSU game. Do you guys think the environment gets too rough and vulgar for kids at LSU home games?

If you're planning on bringing your child to a game, keep him/her away from anyone between the ages of 18 and 25. It gets ridiculous.

If those kids were brought to the student section, yes.
Your experiences may vary at other parts of the stadium.

The students are the least of the worries when it comes to this.

I had two real pieces of work sitting behind us Saturday. Cussing players and stuff. They were obliterated

From the article the only people being administered the test are people who get removed from a game. So hold your liquor and you won't have to take the test to get into the stadium in the future.

The Tailgate scene has evolved to where it is no longer an ideal place for children. Parents who take their children with the idea that the parents are going to focus on the child the entire day will do well. Other than that, it's not a particularly healthy environment with few redeeming qualities for ages 0 thru 15.
When my boys were small I took them to a few games in the 80's, but realized that unless I was going to devote all my attention to them, there wasn't much point. And if I was going to devote all my attention towars them, there were better places to do so.
Take the kids when they're old enuf to enjoy a cold beer. I'll bring #4 son next year when he's 16.

I've been to a couple of Tech's games. I live in Ruston and graduated from Tech, but that's not my team. You're right. It's a safe enough environment for kids. LSU is a whole other level of party, though. I'm just wondering if large groups of people with more than enough alcohol in their systems at games is the way things are really supposed to be. Do most adults who attend LSU games with their kids take offense, or is it accepted by most as not big enough of a deal to worry with?
