When Trent pretty much cut ties with Galloway and Williams, I figured he was extremely confident about Turner. Very good news.

Trent Johnson is a terrible recruiter also. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Jalen Courtney (PF) - offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Missouri

Matt Derenbecker (SF) - offers from Bama, Georgetown, Ga Tech, Ole Miss, Stanford, Oklahoma State

Ralston Turner (SG) - offers from Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Georgia

and coming soon,

Andre Stringer (PG) - offers from Bama, USC, Ole Miss, Miss State, Florida State

Was I sleeping last March when this guy committed to us?

This is a great pick-up for Trent. Now LSU just needs a point guard (Stringer), and the class should be all set by the early signing period.

It looks like the only players that LSU really coveted that they couldn't land were Oyediji (sp?, who went to A&M), Pressey (Missouri), and Jelan Kendrick, whose stock skyrocketed over the summer.

Definitely a good job by the staff.

Congrats on the pick up. If Stringer comes this will be a nice class. If there is no stringer, the PG to get needs to be Nick Syrie of the 2011 class from Northside High in Lafayette

Isaac should be the top player in the state next year.

Good prospect, but it went a little under the radar due to the fact that he's a junior (class behind this class). But if he hits his potential and keeps his pledge to LSU it'll be a great get.

Trent Johnson with his recruiting and coaching might be the best LSU basketball coach in LSU history, where are those people doubting Trent Johnson when it came to recruiting?
