all this talk about the one punch and whether or not he'll be suspended.....

Not only did he sucker punch the BSU guy, he then proceeded to push his teammates and then go after two fans.

How can this guy not be suspended for at least 5 games?

I agree. Blount crossed the line and should probably be kicked off the team given his past history, BUT don't lay your hands on another man and be surprised that he didn't appreciate it

The bitch of the whole situation is the 5-10 other Boise players who watched their boy go down, and didn't try to get at Blount. That shite happens in Baseball or Hockey and that guys teammates jump Blount

Or maybe those players(unlike the BSU player that got punched) were smart and well disciplined and didn't want to get suspended and hurt there team.

I love how we criticize players for NOT fighting.

Coaches all over the country just got ANOTHER thing to talk about in either Friday's meeting or Saturday morning's meetings. It isn't like they need more to worry about.

Their nonaction wasn't out of restraint for fear of being suspended, their nonaction was out of being bitches.

How would you know this?

Let's list successful teams from the past 20 years that were known for mauling players after the game, especially in 5 on 1 situations. Any coach worth a damn preaches discipline on and off the field, and players generally respect and listen to good coaches.

esp with no helmet.

Blount acted like an idiot, and should be off the team....but the Boise guy clearly lit the powder keg, and not in a normal postgame kind of way.

And never ever take your helmet off post game unless you intend to use it as weapon......See Colt David 2005 Miami.........

Does anyone have it on DVR and can get what the Boise State player actually said?

i don't care if I am in walmart if a grown man comes up and slaps me on the shoulder and tells me some shite, I am knocking his arse out too, if any one disagrees...please give back your man card or maybe you never had one!

If I could possibly lose millions of dollars for doing it, then yea, i'd do my best to control my anger and not do it.

Blount quite obviously cannot control his anger one bit.

Maybe the NCAA should enforce a "hugging" policy before the game instead of a handshake? Maybe that will keep these instances from reoccuring.

Max, I don't see why you are so fixated on this. Blount put some bulletin board material for Boise this week, and these kinds of things happen all the time. Blount's reaction on the other hand, does not (fortunately).

people from the winning team run up to the losers and slap their shoulders while talking shite after the game all the time? I must turn the channel before that happens every week.

I'm not saying the Oregon guy isnt in the wrong too, just that this fig from Boise 100% deserved to get hit in the face, no doubt about it.
