I have weddings and bachelor parties coming up across the southeast...two fall back to back and we were going to take a week vacation and road trip the Southeast...
Savannah: need about 3 meals here...I struck out completely with food in this city so I really need some suggestions.
We have about 4 meals in Charleston (I have been to Pennisula Grill, SNOB, Magnolia Grill, but the gf has not)...I was looking for a casual and dressy.
Then we may grab a meal in ATL (likely Eclipse di Luna) on our way to TN....we will have a couple meals in TN...Memphis suggestions (been to Rendevouz, Paulette's and Interstate)...have read a bit on Currents near Overton Square, but we will likely want some BBQ....
We have Abe's planned for Delta and either Madidi or Rust in Clarksdale planned...whichever is not where the rehearsal dinner is located.

What kind of place are you looking for and where in memphis?
Memphis BBQ? The BBQ Shop or Central BBQ or Kozy Korner as mentioned above.
Fine Dining? If you're downtown, check out Felicia Suzzane or Spindini (more hip). If you're in midtown, check out Iris. If you're out east, check out Folks Folly. I can give you more options if you give more details.

Savannah
There were a few places that I really enjoy there.
Vinnie Van Go-Go's
This a hole-in -the-wall pizza joint with awesome pizza and good local beer on tap. The place is very small and only takes cash, but it is definitely worth a trip.
Lady and Son's
This is Paula Deen's restaurant and is pretty good. I wouldn't go there for dinner, but I thought that it was great for lunch. Everything that I had there was good ole' southern comfort food. The biggest problem is that her fat face is all over the restaurant.
Boar's Head
Good steaks and great view of the river.
The Pink House
This is a bit more upscale than the others. I thought the food was good, but I ended up get really drunk that night and don't remember to much about the place other than I enjoyed the meal.
One thing that I loved about Savannah is that it is a big drinking town. There are many english, scottish, and irish pubs all around the city.

just posted in the Chas vs. Sav thread:
Try Elizabeth's on 37th St. in Savannah. Usually considered to be one of the best restaurants on the East Coast.
