b/c it was wayyyyyyyyyy more then a little redundant!!

It all painted LSU in a positive light, so I had NO problem with it! Plus it was only redundant to the folks who follow LSU baseball on a consistent basis.

Think of it this way, now some guy in NYC might now a little bit about MM's story.

my comments are based off the whole series..........

I didnt say it was ESPN putting LSU down, they actually made us out to be the GREATEST thing since slicced bread

point was they acted like everything positive we did shouldve happened b/c we were just WAYYYYYYYYY better then TexASS

and i do think EA was a distraction for UT.

They def gave us program props

I just think in a game that isnt nationally loved they did a 2nd rate broadcast that could have turned some non fan viiewers off with the amatuer hour camera angles, commentary, and reduntance!

Chad Jones weighs and plays at 240 lbs. Never mind that the TV screen says 6'3" 222 lbs.

i wasnt saying it shouldnt have been said during the whole cws...... but 3 days in a row? point taken bout NYC man though

and yes most LSU fans the story was redundant the 1st time it was run at cws and it was great they ran it, but in the finals 3 days in a row.... looked to me like they thought sweep and just didnt get enough stories......

You're correct, but don't you think the guys in the booth could have spoken to the players themselves and gotten some other facts or info. to talk about during the game other than what was on their fact sheets?

I agree it would have made sense for them to augment the provided facts with some personal observations but for the most part I was very pleased with the way they openly fawned over LSU. You're correct to say they lacked in professionalism but I suppose it didn't bother me all that much. But then I don't mad when Vern misses a name during football games.

LSU wins a NC & here is a negative-slanted rant. Only here. Look at the big picture, above & beyond the NC. LSU got 2 wks of great publicity that cann't be bought at any cost. And you knock ESPN for totally irrelevant BS.

I strongly agree that camera behind the catcher was the worst idea EVER from a filming standpoint. It drove me nutts when they did that....and it always seemed to be a close call strike or ball when they did it!

wtf was Erin Andrews in texASS' dugout the whole time and only did "tidbits" for them?

Spelling Texas texASS doesn't make your post less stupid.

Erin Andrews had plenty of time with LM and PM.
The ESPN booth spoke constantly about how great LSU fans were and how great the program was.

They have to bring up all this stuff about the players again and again, because people it is for the casual viewer, not the hard core Tiger-Longhorn fan who has been watching games all season.

Enjoy the championship. Jeez what a wet blanket. Always gotta bitch about something.

How can you listen to any sports event if redundant speech irritates you.

Only thing I would have liked to see was maybe some different stories about the players in the last game. Maybe some different interviews also, however all in all I thought it was pretty decent coverage and I definetly enjoyed the commentary crew.

capitol one will never be "IN MY WALLET". After watching 100 of their commercials, I am convinced that I don't want one.

LSU was up 11-4 and he said Texas needed 6 runs to tie it

I heard that also.

And I believe that the ESPN crew was weighted in LSU's favor. I think they gave more attention to LSU and actually willed them a win.

She could not stay in the same dugout as Mikie because he made her panties moister than the Omaha humidity.

Kyle Peterson worked the LSU dugout for ESPN and Andrews worked the Texas.... I see nothing wrong with that

They quickly sent Erin over to LSU at the end of the game...... Its all about ratings.
