Josh Reed with a tie for second being Wendell Davis and Michael Clayton.

Josh Reed is the best statistically. But you can't have this conversation without including Wendell Davis and Eddie Kennison

There you go! Josh Reed may have statistically been the best, but Wendell Davis was BY FAR the most fun to watch. Some absolutely circus catches!

Statistically??????
Dude, on any day of the year at Bryant-Denny Stadium, if you look closely, you can see the ghosts of Alabama defensive backs looking for their pride like it was a lost contact lens.

Eric Martin? Come on. I was a freshman when ET was a Senior and I love him to death...but the guy was only a WR for one year.
You have to give the nod to Josh Reed imo. I would give honorable mention to Wendell Davis and Dwayne Bowe....

Reed was the best LSU receiver ever. With him, opposing defenses were always like, "where the frick did he come from?" after he toasted them.

LSU has never had a receiver who could separate himself from a DB like Josh Reed. Seemed like he was always five yards away from the nearest DB.

No love for Tommy Cassanova? Josh Reed was incredible. But I believe it was the tandem of him and Rohan that made him special. Those guys were in each other's brains. Wendell Davis was fun to watch as well.

Dude he wasnt the best but you might want to get your facts straight Martin was a 3 year starter at WR. He only played RB one year his freshman and then was moved to WR and started his soph year in 82 when LSU went to the Orange Bowl. You can look it up its a fact!
