you guys know anything about him?
Posted on 6/14/09 at 3:08 pm to Elleshoe
is he actually good tho? I know we have been talking about it. And people have said that they would like to see either Lee or Scroggins or some of the other players. his stats seem impressive, but his rating and the relatively lack of talk from other schools doesnt seem to correlate to what people have been saying on the board. So why exactly is he good?

Broadway and Munchie, good luck at Miss. St. and Michigan.

he has a pretty impressive offer sheet for not being any good

Yeah, we are set at QB for quite some time.

Let's face it, Munchie wasn't going to hack it in our offense. The arm strength isn't there. As for Broadway, well, he's just been a huge vag for the past 12 months. He got burned by Bama and now LSU.

Any relation to Jarrett Lee from Texas? I almost hate to ask.

Wow, grats to the staff for somehow managing to get a big time QB with all the young talent we have there

Did not see this happening...great pick up Tigers

im not saying he doesnt have a good offer sheet. Oklahoma and a bunch of other rly good teams have offered. But i saw talk in other topics where they made it seem as if he was a rly good QB, one who was much much better than Munchie. I also heard that he might get drafted in the MLB Draft next year meaning he might just be here for a year. So what is the benefit of drafting him for just a couple of years?
The statement made by the people in this forum and the offer for him to a kid who might leave for MLB in 2 years dont correlate with only 6 other offers in TOTAL (excluding LSU).
so whats the deal?

Lee could also play baseball as well, he's legit.
Posted on 6/14/09 at 3:21 pm to thunderbird1100
He will play both sports at LSU. Dominating pitcher
Posted on 6/14/09 at 3:21 pm to LSUGTFAN
the QB from Alabama looked so much better than the Louisiana guys that we were able to take him as insurance if Lee goes to baseball.

um. Scout has him as the 20th best in the country and a 3 star. I am not saying he doesnt have the talent. THat is where i am getting confused. His numbers seem amazing. But he only has 6 offers, other than from LSU. Only Mississippi from the SEC has offered him, which is interesting that he is from texas and if he is this highly touted and this close to all the SEC schools, how come no other SEC school has shown great interest in him?
I am just saying that he seems questionably amazing. Why so? and what are his strengths/weaknesses?

Scout just dropped him in their rankings. FWIW, Scout's rankings are horrible. You should always go according to Rivals position rankings.
