I have a nice deal to purchase some season tickets this upcoming year, but they are in Section 114, on the 1st row (50 yard line). My only question is will my view be blocked by the players being that I am on the very first row? According to the seller "the view is perfect", but I can't be so sure. Has anyone ever sat on the very first row, 50 yard line? Thanks in advance..

We use to have season tickets on the 45 yd line in the 5th row and I hated them. You always have to stand up to see and you cant get a good feel for the game being so low.

my tickets are on row 26 section 144, that view is perfect, if you get to about row 20 I think your view starts getting blocked.

The lowest I've sat is on the third row (around the 45 yard line) and you really can't see what's going on over the players. Luckily this was in the late Mora/early Ditka years and it was easy to move up.

Hope this helps.

Last year someone gave my mom tickets in that area and after haltime the people in front of them left, so they called me down from my terrace seat. I stayed there for one series and went back up to my terrace seat. It's cool to be that close to the action, but not cool to watch the game.

I watched LSU v OU MNC gam on the third row and the view sucked.

It was awesome to be that close for a huge game like that, but I wouldnt want to do that for any run of the mill game.

My tickets are 3 rows back on the 45 yard line on the Saints sideline. It gets old having to stand a lot, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. I have gotten many autographs/pictures/memorabilia over the years being so close to the rail

I got two sets of tickets to a preseason game on my birthday one year. The first set was close to the middle of the field, in one of the first rows. It was a different experience - you could hear the hits a lot more. It gave me a better feel for what these guys are doing to their bodies at this level. It was so close it was like watching some guys at the park.

The only problem was I couldn't really see what was happening. I'm used to being in the first section of the Terrace where you can see the whole field, birds eye view almost. I wouldn't want those seats every game, but it's cool to see it once.

We left those seats at halftime to go to a luxury box to watch the second half. It was one of the TV stations that my wife works with (she's in advertising). Again, it was a cool experience but not something I would want to do often. It felt a little disconnected. The free food and alcohol was sweet, though.
