There isnt a legit draft database online that wont tell you the exact same thing about Griffin.

Also, when you start your argument with, "he isnt that explosive", it invalidates whatever you say next because explosiveness is the best part of his game.

He's a very good college player, and this is weak draft. The same good things were said about Kenyon Martin, Drew Gooden, Stromile Swift, Tyson Chandler, Eddy Curry, Eddie Griffin, Chris Bosh, Al Jefferson, Dwight Howard, Emeka Okafor, Tyrus Thomas, LaMarcus Aldridge, Greg Oden, Al Horford, and Marcus Fizer.

All of those guys have had varying levels of success in the NBA. Griffin's biggest attributes are his emotional maturity, dedication to improving his game, and rebounding. He has also really improved his post-up moves over the past season. However, I don't see freak athleticism or inexplicable talent. I see a disciplined player, with very good coordination for his size, who is able to dominate less talented and undersized opposition.

If he was able to do the same stuff against UConn, Pitt, and Louisville, then I would be very impressed, but he hasn't had the opportunity yet. Also, keep in mind that the only reason why he stayed in school was because guys like Beasley, Kevin Love, Anthony Randolph (all of whom are the same age) were rated higher than him by scouts.
