Yeah I'd have to add the 1st victory over a #1 team in Tiger Stadium in 97.

Even though we lost, I understand the '79 game against USC was a more defining game than the FLA game. This game put LSU back on the maps.

I maybe wrong, but ask some of the older fans who were at both games.

I was at both. The USC game was more intense start to finish, but for a different reason. LSU should have won the game, but those F'ing Refs and those bogus calls were too much to overcome. There's never been a game like that in TS and probably never will be again. After we marched back to the bandroom after the game, I just sat out in the Greek Theater for several hours. Didn't even put my bass drum up or anything. One of the TB staff members had to go get me and tell me they were locking up, so I finally had to go put my stuff up. Went back out to the GT for a little more cooling off time while listening to the post game shows.......

Nah, I wouldn't say that at all - the team that year ended up losing a few more close games after that.

USC '79 was the greatest game in Tiger Stadium ever, but I would never think of it as a defining moment.

Warren Morris totally signifies the defining moment - even if you can't stand baseball.
