I'm definitely honored to have a relative contributing to our football team.

Why piss on this guys parade? He's proud that his family is a Tiger. So all of you haters, claiming "I could do better", go out there and prove it...

i competed in powerlifting in high school and at LSU, thank you and at a much lower bodyweight than this guy.

good numbers for a high school kid, but to suggest this guy friends are saying he is on roids with those numbers is silly.

too old and ran out of eligibility to play football. but i have more overall athletic ability now at 26 than at 19.

When did this turn into what you could do hero? This is about someone proud of a family member. So start your own thread about you.

i think he will be a good one too, but he's a true freshmen that is stepping up in competition. my argument is how will he handle the mental aspect of the game? nothing against the young man, i hope he dominates.

I am assuming he is gonna be a freshman walk-on this year. Correct?

Exaggerated whispers like this were the first we heard of a workout warrior walk-on from Rummel, Kevin Steltz. And he lived up to the billing after all the Rummel people told us that he was bashing heads in practice.

Not saying that this kid will be the next Steltz at FB, just saying that you never know...

Good luck to him and I hope to see him kicking arse next year. We have great great talent coming in at the FB position so if he is man enough to win out that means he is something truely special.

actually sophomore walk on, he'll be a junior in the fall..and to LSU coon, those stats were from a couple of years ago, fwiw he broke records at junior nationals last year but he was disqualified for making a minor error..but regardless, he's more a monster now, and I hope he can do great things for LSU.

Good luck to him and I'm grateful for his contributions whether he ends up being a scout-teamer, squadman, letterman or starting fullback.

Man, even if I never played a down; just to put on that purple and gold uniform on Saturday nights ...

Doesn't look like he's on the Spring 2009 roster but they probably don't have first-time walkons listed.

Give him my best and I wish him all the good luck in the world in making the team.

Not so fast. Kevin Steltz was the EXACT same story as this kid.

I seriously doubt he will beat out Ridley or D.Allen, who I think will be an all SEC peformer by his 2nd year. Hey, I hope he does though. Look at Johnson this past season. He came out of nowhere! Good luck to him, I hope he makes it.
