Nate, Looks like you wasn't lying about your cousin...

On the Question on " Who is likely to start at fullback? "

Coming from Les Miles:

" I think you will find that one of the other big guys, maybe Richard Dugas, will give us some snaps at fullback. I think he will be in there competing to play. This young James Stampley, a walk on, has given us some snaps, is awfully physical, and I'm not ready to say he's not in it. I think the position will come to life this fall."

I hope he does a great job and earns himself a scholarship..

Yeah, when I read his name remembered someone speaking of this kid so I used the "--> Search button <--" Something that rarely gets done around here these days..

Yeah, very nice follow-up.

When the HC mentions your name, you're definitely for real.

Nate, most of us would have given our left arm for a chance to suit up for the Tigers, so don't listen to the dirtbags on TD who get their jollies by trashing anything and everything that is posted here. I hope your boy does great, and you keep pumping him up.

So if Stampley gets the start, will Dickson give him #18

BTW, love to hear stories like this one. I'll definitely be pulling for him to do well...!

Nate, is there any way you can ask your cousin how much he benches? I'm really curious...

Also, I would LOVE to see him start one day. I freakin love stories like this. I'm secretly holding out that he's the next #18.
