i like his potential and ability to just get the ball to the playmakers. I say keep him as the number 1 qb and let russell touch the ball at least 20 or 25 times a game from various positions (qb, wr, or even rb on a toss or option)

I dont think there is any doubt that Jefferson will be the #1

Good God almighty, touch the ball 20 or 25 times a game from various positions, and Jefferson be the starting QB. So tell me, what was in your soup of the day when you thought this crap up?

you really think this would happen if he's not the starting qb?

Yes exactly. I really think Shepard's role this coming season will be exactly like Tim Tebow's was his freshman year. Tebow ran the ball a lot more than he passed and he would just pass the ball occasionally to keep the defense guessing. Also, look for him to get some screen routes and yes he may be lined up as a wide receiver as well. Gary Crowton can come up with a lot of creativity with this kid. Therefore, look for the offense the way it was in 2007.

Why only 20-25 touches? The kid walks on water, we might as well give it to him every snap.
