Wendell Davis honored at the Gator Bowl

I went to the game and in the first half during a timeout he went out onto the field and was introduced to the crowd as a new inductee into the Gator Bowl hall of fame. 
to an all-time Tiger great. It was cool to be there to see that.
Also, when the P.A. announcer ran down his accomplishments "in the 1987 Gator Bowl against South Carolina" Davis got a loud cheer from the Clemson contingent. Pretty funny.

Davis and Hodson had a monster Gator Bowl...torched that "Black Death" defense like nobody's bidness.
Archer should've walked away from football after that game, because that was the high point of his career.

Sharpe got all the media attention going into that game but Davis was the better receiver that day.
