We traditional Methodists have been doing this for 50 years. The African Conference of the UMC is more conservative than even the traditionalists here. But the evil UMC Council of Bishops and Judicial Council have made it all but impossible for the African Churches to disaffiliate. I'm glad I'm done with them and hopefully the African Conference can hold on until something is done for them.

This seems to hold true across all denominations from what I have observed. The African Catholics are the definition of based.
