FFS, take the L you old hag. MOP is the perfect acronym for her because she looks like a dirty old mop. Bitter, angry, and looks to be losing her mind. Fade away already you loser.

Take the L, BR

Didn’t she get tossed from the lower court case for lack of standing?

I don’t see the state SC reversing that.

Pierson said, if that is the case, she believes the parish should be paid back for any services and improvements the parish provided during that time frame.

“Money is a two-way street,” she said. “If you want your money back, well, give us our assets back.”

I would love a detailed account of all the services the parish provided to St. George, specifically using the 2% sales tax taken out of the general fund.

Supporters of St. George said Monday they believe they are entitled to taxes collected from their area over the past five years, the time period that St. George was tied up in a legal fight.

Pierson said, if that is the case, she believes the parish should be paid back for any services and improvements the parish provided during that time frame.

“Money is a two-way street,” she said. “If you want your money back, well, give us our assets back.”

Does she really think that the city would come out ahead if this was the case?

Baton Rouge is like the jilted lover who can’t accept that it’s over.

StG just isn’t into you anymore.

I didn't realize you could just ask for a do-over without some new information coming to light.

Pierson says the request will include multiple issues for the state’s highest court to reconsider. She did not elaborate on what those issues are.

1. We don't like the ruling.
2. We really don't like the ruling.
3. We really, really don't like the ruling.
4. Did I mention we don't like the ruling?

They're going to do everything they can to fight and prolong it. I give it to the liberal mindset. They're like pitbulls once they latch on. Reasonable people would take the L, realize the will of the people, and move on.

Applications for rehearings are pretty common. Getting one granted, however, is pretty rare.

Until they stop bringing this shite up and let sleeping dogs lie, I'm still a little concerned they can get their way. After them throwing out the first petition by 17 votes, then the courts ruling in favor of BR a few times, it's tough to accept the W.

I did not expect the outcome the SC gave us. Of course I was overjoyed by it, but I'm still a little in shock. I've had the rug pulled out from under me before.

She represents Cole. State SC literally told Cole he has no standing. Not sure what argument she thinks she can make which will override her client not having standing.

St. George should secede from EBR and start its own parish

All this posturing and smell of desperation tells me there are some irregularities that may come to light from this separation. No proof, just a feeling.
