Caitlin Clark has generated tons of interest in women’s basketball because of her long-range shooting and deft passing. She’s been likened to Golden State Warriors great Stephen Curry, and that comparison ain’t crazy...that’s how special Clark is.
But some of the mania connected to Clark goes beyond the hardwood. She is the newest Great White Hope — a straight white woman excelling in a sport dominated by Black women.

Besides the fact that she's probably the best women's player in history, Caitlyn is much more marketable to a wide audience than the typical WNBA player. Money talks.

This is just stupid on so many levels.
Steph Curry is making stupid shots being guarded by the best athletes in the entire world regardless of sport. The level of skill for any NBA player to score on an NBA defense is unbelievable compared to the WNBA. I mean I don’t believe WNBA players are skilled enough to do anything on low end men’s college basketball. It could be a stretch to think they are skilled enough to be effective against top-end to elite boys highschool basketball.

This is something that cracked me up. 99% of the time the statement “highest scorer in NCAA history.” I’m sure that somebody says “college” occasionally, but that’s just being a dick for being a dick’s sake. Most fanfare was because it was the NCAA record.
I promise the root would not bring this up if a black woman broke an NAIA white woman record.
