I never realized goatees were so ubiquitous until I watched an LSU baseball game on TV.

They are especially popular in the bleachers. Lots of full beards too, but a crap ton of goatees. Often accompanied by a shaved head and ball cap.
Is the goatee the official facial hair of plant baws?
I’ll give these fellas credit. A lot of them have hot wives. And they produce plenty of children.

They are awful. The crazy thing tho is that two of the coolest guys of our time (Leo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt) still rock these atrocious things

I had one as a teen. Now I keep a tom sellick stash with a beard. I purposely trim below the ends of the moustache to highlight the absolute thicker than oatmeal moustache.

I've been clean-shaven, worn a conventional mustache and a Fu Manchu, and was a long-time beard-wearer, but I've never gone the goatee route. Too damn many of them out there already.
