Baseball. Movie is Hardball. And I agree, the little kid’s funeral is hard to watch.

Most of that list is shite, although I haven't seen some on it admittedly.

But:
quote:

18. The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)

quote:

14. Armageddon (1998)

quote:

13. Rudy (1993)

quote:

6. Forrest Gump (1994)

All make me well up a little:

But this:
quote:

17. About Time (2013)

Makes me:

And that was before I had my son. I haven't had the balls to watch it since I had my boy.

For me it's when Forrest talks to Jenny at her grave. If I've been watching it for a while (i.e. invested in the movie) that scene tears me to pieces. tom Hanks deserved the Oscar for that scene alone.

And good call on Old Yeller. That should 100% be in the list.

Yep.

You can add Up to this list for me. That first 20 mins wrecks me.

Toy Story 2 got me a couple of times. End of Toy Story 3. I can not watch A Dogs Life all the way through. I had to break it up into different parts. This will be strange to most but the end of A.I. just ripped me to shreds.

I will cry in a movie for sure. I'm a bit of a softy, and especially since my mom passed. But this is one of the most overrated movies ever. My mom was the one that would play catch with me as a kid, so this movie should be right up my alley.

But the popular "Hey Dad, want to have a catch" line just doesn't do it for me. Has anyone that has ever played baseball ever said "you want to have a catch?" No. The most iconic line in the movie isn't even worded right

Beaches, The Sandlot, and Cool Runnings are the only movies that have made me cry.

My Dad cried at E.T.

Undercover Boss...I cried at everyone but one.

correct on all points but this wasn't really the line(s) that got to me.

FWIW, I'd add P,T,& A to that list. Top 5 for me. Just last week I broke down watching that clip from the Steve Martin doc that was on Twitter

Cry about what? I watched this yesterday. The only thing I could think would make me cry is that I should have bought Apple stock a long time ago.
