I mean, I get the speed of it all going on at the same time is exciting and makes for a good television product--and likely in person as well--but the speed seems hard for the judges to have to give almost immediate scores. Can they not breathe for a second and think before putting in a score that really fricking matters?

A very casual gymnastics watcher, the scoring is so frustrating and why I don’t get that invested. It’s maddening how subjective it all is.

I think the judges see that Utah is a red team and UU looks so close to OU, so they are thinking that OU is still here today and they are handing out the candy scores to them like always
