ETA - ~15% of the residents in Iceland are foreign so if you thought they shared the same immigration policies as Japan you would definitely be wrong.

I love their trash policies, but they have nothing consumed to go. Anything, including a bottle of water is consumed where you bought it. You can’t throw trash away that you bring with you anywhere.

He lived in a city about 1.5 hrs from Tokyo. He said it was racist AF. They hated him and hated white people and anyone who wasn't Japanese. He wound up leaving after 4 years and coming home. Dreams crushed. Maintains it was very racist there. Maybe Tokyo being an international city is better but where he was they were not keen on foreigners and different races.

“Foreign”? I don’t see what foreign has to do with anything. Sweden has less than 5% of the problem foreigners and Norway has less than 1%. The foreigners you are talking about are Danes, Finns, Swedes/Norweigans, Germans, Brits and other caucasians. These are not a problem.

You are quite ignorant if you believe that. Japan, like most Asian countries, is racist far beyond what you’ll find in America. They have established castes that are inferior socially. Try being a Korean in Japan. Even among Japanese there are people who are unclean - not because of their habits but because of their birth.
