No it's not. In which war was someone trying to take away our freedom of speech? If the poster said that you fought to advance U.S. corporate interests, I'd have upvoted too.

He has a right to his opinion just like everyone else who will bash him for his. I agree with his position.

This might be the case now but that was never supposed to be the case.

Jeff Landry is a trial lawyer and only switched to the Republican Party when he started running for state wide office. See Bill Cassidy, Jay Dardenne, and John Kennedy for some other notable examples.

Landry also sided with JBE and the big lawyers as AG to sign off on a 2021, $100 million settlement against O&G companies, coincidently filed by his buddies at the Carmouche Law Firm who helped raise close to $1,000,000 for his election bid just two years later.

Does our Governor not have anything better to do than embarrass himself and attack our biggest state university on a public platform.

There's a legislative session going on right now, but I guess he's already got all the reform bills passed and a proper budget to set Louisiana on a path to prosperity.

So now he's got some extra time on his hands.

Yeah, but that didn't matter to Louisiana's biggest MAGA fans. Once Donald Trump endorsed Landry, everyone else in the race was just some leftist groomer.

I would not send a letter requesting revoking scholarships. I would make the same points by asking the value of patriotism be a part of the culture of LSU athletics, and I would do it very quietly, and not make a national or statewide issue of it, however, the governors points are good points and should be made in someway.

No. I said he’s a Republican who behaves more like a Democrat. Why is reading comprehension so hard for most people? Lol

Republican politicians from Louisiana are not really republicans. They’re democrats who call themselves republicans. They constantly do stupid things like encourage group think and government overreach.

Frick this gay state. It’s much more liberal than people like to believe, and it deserves every bit of mediocrity headed its way.

well that certainly is an interesting opinion. It's stupid as frick, but it is an opinion nonetheless.
