Hollywood people are out of work

It's a Tiktok video but it's a bunch of different Hollywood support workers complaining about not having any work for almost a year
People are spending less on entertainment since they have to pay bills. I am sure these Hollywood people are all liberal and will not figure out that Biden printing money affects their jobs too. They will all likely vote for him again. No doubt they proudly voted against the Newsome recall also.
Do you think any of them realize that pushing their liberal agenda when all people want to do is watch a show or movie might also be contributing to people consuming less of their product which means less work for them?
Read the comments on the video and you will see people saying they can't afford it and/or are sick of the liberal agenda.

It’s the ripples in the industry still from the Covid shutdown. People got out of the routine of going to the theaters. The entire industry is retracting. Performing arts are having the same difficulties

Welcome to the world you created. Reap the benefits of being stupid.

No it isn't. Streaming reached a peak during CV so there is some contraction but right now Hollywood should be filming a lot of shows and movies to catch up from not producing much for 2 years.

Hollywood is more than just movies and theaters. Go read the comments and so many people say they can't afford streaming services or just prefer Youtube and social media. They also say that the liberal messaging has become too much

Yes that’s it. Covid is the culprit ??. It would not be the economy sucking because of an incompetent and corrupt illegitimate government!!! Dude gtfo with this stupid skit ??

All I can say is for some reason there are a less homeless people on Sunset lately.
For a while there I felt like I was playing Frogger when headed to the gym.

The problem is the barrier to get into entertainment is zero with a cell phone and YouTube/social media. The most entertaining people aren’t in Hollywood.

AI will take over all those jobs in the near future, if not already

Could be from the recent strikes.

I am extremely glad.. Leaves movie financiers looking in other than normal areas for material since there is a shortage.

They can dig there way out of it. They just need to make more superhero movies, but make them all female and throw some transgender shite in there. Be sure and spend about 300 million dollars, but make it look shitty as possible. This is clearly the audience they are aiming for.

You would think with no filming during CV, and also a writer strike for months, that Hollywood would be filming content like crazy to catch up. That is they would be doing just that if there was a demand. The truth is the demand just isn't there from the consumers.
People are watching Youtube, Tiktok, etc
Me Beast gets hundreds of millions of views on his videos every Saturday.

That’s nice. It gives them time to pursue their hobbies. They should be thankful for the opportunity.

Went with 2 of my kids to the movies. Coat us 60 bucks.
If that was us 5 years ago career wise there is no way we could afford that routinely. Not to mention we won't dare go to most movies because I don't want my kids seeing trans lesbis eating tacos that are really hot dogs.

And the actors/writer's strike.
Even if all that is true, the point is still the same. The people that wanted Biden, the people that wanted shutdowns, the people who wanted to strike are the same people who are now complaining.

This is very true. My kids are 20 and 23 and they can barely sit through a movie, and I'm not sure either one has ever went to a movie of their own accord. Their "movie stars" are more likely to be YouTubers, and not even anyone like Mr Beast.
