Jaden Noot will be able to return from Tommy John surgery and pitch for the Tigers in April, Johnson said on Monday. "Jaden threw a competitive bullpen on the field on Thursday night at Mississippi State," Johnson said. "And that was very positive."

Johnson also said on Monday that right-handed pitcher Chase Shores is two months behind Noot in his recovery process from the same surgery. Johnson had revealed on March 5 that Shores underwent Tommy John two months after Noot had his procedure. "We're not to the point in the calendar where we can move (Shores' timeline) up yet," Johnson said.

Ethan Frey, who suffered an upper-body injury last weekend against Xavier, hit in batting practice on Saturday and Sunday and is feeling better since suffering the ailment, Johnson said. But Johnson added that he is "not quite sure yet" of when he'll be available to play again.

An LSU Tiger turdition, baw!

We could use Frey at minimum to split time with Neal. This young team seems like it loses focus at the plate and random defensive plays. It's like playing "whack-a-mole" trying to figure which bat is gonna shite the bed. I know we have Brown, Larson and a few others but at least having Frey in the fray will help.

Ell had Tommy John surgery 20 years ago so he’s the absolute authority on recovery time. I’m not sure why you’re arguing with him

For what? I love thanking God for everything but him saying Shores is pretty much a guaranteed no go this year is not something to be excited about lol
