Because he can't. He has a high shooting percentage because he shoots almost exclusively putbacks/dunks/lay ups at the rim.

Annoying loss, Arky just worked the slow feet of our bigs and LSU just couldn’t get in a groove or hit the big shot to get it within a possession. Oh well get Mizzou on Saturday and finish 9-9

He CAN shoot. I watched his tape. He's had multiple times where he's made 10+ threes in a row during warmups.
He's made threes when he's allowed to shoot them.
I'm aware his FG% is high due to low volume and shot diet. That's not what I'm talking about. He can shoot threes.
Even then is it better to just rim run and get blocked 10+ times and cry about not getting calls? At least let him shoot a three once.

We did tonight, we needed someone to create and open up the paint a bit. Cook does that when he actually gives a crap.
This was the one I was most worried about, of the final 3 games.

He wasn't always a C. Coming out of HS he was a guard/wing. Had ball skills. Could shoot.
Look at his shot mechanics. He has a smooth form, it's not janky like Reed or hitchy like Baker. He can shoot.

He's 2 for 11 in his career, he is 2 for 4 this year. He's been at 3 different schools, if he could shoot well in games one of those coaches would've figured it out.
