After Bear’s bomb a Texas fan told me to show some class, I flashed horns down to him and told him welcome to the SEC. The guys heckling Texas’ bullpen were great.

Bro, this was probably a great game and thread to peak your interest in LSU Baseball. So many good posters and the passion of every at bat and pitch.

You will not be disappointed my friend.

I'm looking forward to it! Gives me a reason to be active on TD for the next couple months

Team was locked in last night. Very impressive. Big stage but all the newbies looked like they belonged. Stage didn’t seem too big for any of them. I actually liked that the game got tight late to give Ulloa that chance to come through with some pressure.

A LOT to build off of last night, as the hitters seem to have finally bought into what Jay wants.

They work counts, get HBP aplenty, stay back and balanced on offspeed stuff, barrel up on fastballs… they have definitely bought into what CJJ and staff are preaching.

These guys can frickin play with anyone.

CJJ is THE MAN.

Thank you for everything you do, cheerwizzle!
I know chicken hates fundraisers but we should definitely figure out a way to get you some compensation during Baseball Season. You single-handedly provide an incredibly valuable LSU sports information service that most people can't comprehend much less compete with.
Much love!

Houston has the largest LSU alumni base outside of Louisiana

When I first came to NASA in 1964, One of the local stations had a regular LSU oriented sports show on - don't remember much about it, except it was late at night. It didn't last long either.

I just thought it odd that there would be a show dedicated to LSU in Houston.

This is a new team and if you have listened to Jay’s pressers during first 2 weeks of play you would know he has been frustrated by the hitters not following his plan.

Last night they were bought in.

We looked good in all phases of the game. CJJ putting it on the necessary opponents, dude's a stud.

Many UT folks at work but anyone who knows me knows I'm forever State U; good to have the upper hand Monday morning.

Btw, is Ulloa the new closer? Because I'm ok with that if so.
