Do you even Crusher Impala bro?
Regular cruisers are enough of a money pit as it is, much less trying to go fast too

Find the stamp pad on the front RH side of the block behind the alternator and it will have the VIN of the car it was removed from. The VIN stamp will confirm it was removed from a Vette and the engine ID and suffix will tell you which HP version and what transmission it was mated with originally from the factory. There were 4 options for HP ratings for the 327 engine in the 65 vette. 300, 350, 365, 375(FI)
Nice car. Enjoy a vintage piece of history.

Very close, 1969 Caprice.
1969 has to have been the pinnacle of car manufacturing. So many classics from that year.

A 1965 corvette 327 will only have an engine ID, probably not a partial VIN stamping.
Sometimes the stamp isn't so visible. Also helps to check the casting number of the block, which is located on the rear driver side behind the cylinder head, where the block mates to the bellhousing of the transmission.
@SidewalkTiger, post up the engine ID and block casting numbers.

I’d rather drive a 2007 Kia Rio than that monstrosity

Attached pic is the stamp pad from a 65 vette with the partial vin.

I'm corrected. Thanks.
I still want to see what's actually under the hood in this B body.
