It's hard to call that underrated

Sitting in the covered back porch during a light rain.

1) when your son and dog run to greet you after a long day work and your wife looks at you and smiles. Those moments you only get some many of them. I’ve learned that and it’s made life easier.
2) when my son climbs in my lap 30 minutes before bed and we watch whatever the flavor of the week show he wants to watch. It makes the world just stop
3)cold beer after hard days work in yard. The smell of fresh cut grass and the feel of accomplishment
to a man if you can’t appreciate the small things like these and other you baws have all mentioned what the heck are we doing with our lives.

Mine is that God allows me to wake up everyday! It’s a small but powerful blessing!

When I was a kid we lived in a house without A/C and only had a whole house fan to pull in some outside air.
In the summer months I loved when it would rain and I'd open the window at the head of my bed and lie there listening to the rain hitting the big tin shed roof next door and it would almost always put me to sleep.

Finding the airport shitter that still has the blue cleaning liquid in the water. Peace of mind for the exorcism.

When that bitch/a-hole coworker is flipping out over nothing and you know just the right word to send them over the edge.

Climbing into a soft warm bed with fresh sheets that my old lady washed that day. No I'm not gay.

Dressed and ready for day before most have woken, fresh coffee. Correctly guessing Sudan on my first try of Worldle, then correctly guessing all the surrounding countries without a miss, then going to google maps and learning that South Sudan is mostly Christian. Then getting Wordle in 3 tries. Even when I no doubt frick up Connections, it's still an awesome 15 min to start my day.

First sit in a stand on opening morning of hunting season.

Coffee and newspaper in my recliner, before anyone else wakes up. Added bonus is the dog laying at my feet.

Experienced 2 good ones this afternoon..
1. Catching 5+ straight green lights on a busy road
2. Driving by a cop and he turns his lights on but it’s for someone else

The lead up to fantasy football draft day and being on the clock.

Piping a drive down the middle on the first hole. And listening to the peaceful sounds of a mower a few holes away

Wrestling, playing chase with my little ones, hearing the laughs and shrieks just before time to go to bed on the weekend.
