Amazing how you 3 months ago our place was the driest it has ever been. Walking in today, I’ve never seen so much water on the trails, roads, ponds, etc.

In my saddle about 50 yards off an atv trail. Couldn’t get to where I wanted to go because the trail was flooded too bad. Would’ve needed a snorkel and waders. Had to turn around and set up on some rubs I found earlier in the year. I don’t love it, but I’m giving it my all. Good luck!

Was debating making a run since what was supposed to by my final weekend was spent in a hospital instead of a blind, but I’ve seen almost nothing on my 3 cell cameras since the torrential rains started, other than a flock of gobblers that doesn’t seem phased by the storms.

Going to go walk the woods this afternoon to hunt for squirrels. I'll bring a deer rifle in case I stumble across a nice buck but that is wishful thinking on my part. Only antlered buck I've seen this year was a 3 pointer.

Temperature has already dropped from upper 60s to 55 with strong gusts out of the west.
