Crazy how Kansas and Mississippi are still open. They are smoking them there this week. Lots of South La hunters are there now/.this week.

I know a group of guys that just spend 3 days in south Kansas absolutely waxing that arse. Mallards, sprigs, wigeon, geese. Insanity.

We are in same area and that’s exactly how our season has gone, until Sunday. We have been beating their asses. Never seen ducks land on ice/ fry fields in ark before. 6-8 man limits every day. Very few big ducks, but spoonie and teal smack down.

Coming down tonight and hoping they don’t change the pattern

All 3 are good! Chasing woodcock and learning how to track deer.

Central Rapides Parish, west zone and it was the worst I've seen in several years. As several have mentioned, started out decent and went downhill. The third split was mostly a set in the blind and bullshite with each other event.

Has been the best season we’ve had in years. Maybe the best second split we’ve

I know a lot of people are killing them too but got dam it’s been amazing.

I’m hunting off the river from Arkansas/miss/north la

Shite ton of gadwall early and then mallards/pintails late.

Feels like I’m back in the early 2000’s with how good it’s been. Hope they are back next year

Hunted Lafourche Parish. Teal season was great in the crawfish ponds. First and second split openers were decent in PAC. Killed a few grays, canvasback, widgeon, and mostly dosgris. Rest of the season was 1 or 2 ducks a hunt. As usual, once the dosgris show up most other ducks move out. Up the limit to 6 and you wouldn't hear any complaining from me. Overall a better season for me than the last few years (not saying much).

I never thought I’d say it, but I agree. We were covered up in Dosgris. It would be nice to be able to get a decent meal’s worth each hunt, even if I have to spend a little more for extra marinade!
