Body dysphoria, probably brought on by stress / being in the spotlight. Probably had a frick ton of people online call her "fat" because she isn't 80lbs.
That being said, it's also possible that she didn't have surgery at all, but rather she may have aged that way due to some other health-related issue.
There's a pic she took 79 weeks ago on Instagram where she looks very much like her normal self (a selfie with Jack Quaid); then 7 weeks later she posted a selfie with Colby Minifie (the redhead from The Boys) where she looks more like these.

So whatever happened (surgery, health, etc.) - it looks like it happened about a year and a half ago.

These fricking producers, casting agents, directors and all of the other behind the scenes people got into her head and told her she had to get her face stained and varnished to get more jobs. There have been so many people that got famous on their original looks and screw it up.

It's the size of her arms that makes me wonder if it's more starvation/illness than plastic surgery (or possibly both).

is this really even a thing in 2024? has this been a thing in the last 10-15 years even? we hear this over and over, but where does anyone see this at all? she would have to be absolutely digging through thousands of SLAY KWEEN GO GIRL UR SO FIRE posts to find maybe a couple negative comments here and there. if ANYTHING she is much more likely to be attacked by other women for being too attractive, too thin, too unattainable, etc etc. it's like we're all so conditioned to just say "the high standards of men and trolls online force women to do this" without putting any critical thought into it at all. as a microcosm of the online community, tigerdroppings is a wretched hive of scum and villainy full of trolls and evil conservative men (and i love all of you) and the last two days of this topic on here and on the OT have been dudes universally saying "she was so perfect before why would she do this"

I mean, isn't part of the appeal of her character (in the show) in The Boys that she has the "girl next door" kind of look? That is completely gone now. So they'll either have to kill her off, change that narrative, or address it directly within the show as to why she looks so weird now.
Hopefully the whole "she did this because of online trolls" angle isn't true, but if it is then that's pretty sad (in several different ways). But either way, she looks like a completely different person now, and not in a good way at all.
