damn, so it's under warranty. Can manage to complete the entire process in less time than it takes to charge a typical EV battery, even if you started from being stranded somewhere.

Not immediately and you still have to get the car to a dealership.

Will it happen in less than an hour? I live 5 mins from a walmart, Oreilly's and Autozone. If a battery goes bad in a vehicle at my house, you can have things back up and running in 15 mins.

I have no issues with EV’s or hybrid’s.
There are a lot of kinks to be worked out.
Once they work the kinks out these products maybe better options.
At this time unless you live and drive in a small radius these may not be the vehicle for you.

I have a stick. I push it about ten feet, drop it in second gear and pop the clutch. And away we go.

This is a good thing. Grid connect BESS is getting cheaper by the day.

I do get what's going on. You're an idiot, and instead of accepting that, you make shite up about what I've said.

Proper maintenance would have prevented that for her. I put both my vehicles on battery tenders the night when temps were going to drop into the teens and single digits. Full SoC keeps lead-acid batteries from freezing. You should tell your friend so that next time they don't incur an unnecessary expense due to negligence.

So now you have to plug in your ICE and go to gas stations

As a Louisiana resident, I always base my vehicle purchases off of weather in Chicago

People getting charged over $250/month to be able to use EV chargers in their condo building garage in NYC. Negates gas savings for most. Repair costs suck. Charger availability sucks. Many people waking up to the reality, this is not a solution.

ETA: My NYC colleague said adding a mountain bike to a bike rack on his Tesla SUV kills the battery by 40%. Just a bike lol
