I don't think anyone wants to keep Allen

But the ones that matter do. Every thread seems to like the airing of grievances, but Festivus is over. Probably best to move on to roster moves and potential assistant coach changes.

Start a fire DA pocket line on Airline highway. Get at least 50 people to show up, invite the press. He'll be gone

Naw, I think I’ll continue to be upset that my favorite team has an absolute turd as head coach with no end in sight.

Sure, I cry about things I have no control over also, but I guess I move on faster than most here.

Yup I said last week that’s really the only thing can be done.

I read to avoid the Rooney you have to promote from within and they usually have it in control they are guaranteed the HC job when this happens.

Dennis allen may have been guaranteed 3 years smh

Well, I disagree with that. I think the fans can make a difference by refusing to go to games and give money to the team. But if you want to continue to support this crap, then that’s your right.

This wouldn't apply, they interviewed Bieniemy & Flores for the HC position before giving it to Allen

Which would have no impact on whether or not the team agrees to keep DA for next year. And since there was a slight possibility of making the playoffs during the last 2 home games; why would the fans not show up for those games?

Only we’re not “moving on” we’re continuing with a shite regime that everyone knows is shite. So interest in a lot of the moves and draft pick is going to be met with less enthusiasm and increased skepticism. It’s only normal.

I can understand that. I just don't understand the constant "fire allen!" threads here. Do we feel that if we voice this opinion here another 1, 2, 10000 times that it will make a difference? Just makes reading this board tough.

ETA... at this point, we all know the board's view on Allen. Just gotta hope his and the FO's vision works out.

I was kinda ok with him, but man, if your players don't respect you...

IDK...

I get it. I’m as guilty as any in posting displeasure. I think it’s just hard for a lot of posters to feel we aren’t wasting another year before even starting the process. We had as easy a schedule as you could ever pray for in the nfl made even easier by the qb play of a lot of those teams and still couldn’t separate in a shite division.

Fans are pissed at the apparent disconnect by the regime and probably feel like input into upcoming personnel moves is going to be wasted.

I hope season ticket renewals plummet but your average fan is probably mostly ok with last season.

I've chosen to just not watch or support any longer. Sunday afternoons are good for naps.
