Some people want to be in the toughest conference to see were they stack up. Others don't and want the easiest path to the playoffs. Oregon moving to the Big 10 is better than playing in the Pac 12 but it's still not the SEC. Everyone knows the SEC is the premier conference in college with the Big 10 coming in 2nd.

Well enjoy your traffic and lack of outdoors and we’ll enjoy world class scenery.

A shithole like Oregon lmao that’s like saying Mississippi reminds you of Dubai. It’s factually wrong and completely baseless lmao

Michigan just won the national championship. I think the sec is absolutely the best conference but you act like Oregon is going to have a playoff route like the Big 12.

Lanning could be Kirby smart or he could be Tom Herman.

He’s already done more than Tom Herman did, and he hasn’t mouth kissed any of his players

With Saban leaving Alabama and the B1G adding Oregon, Washington, and USC it’s going to be closer going forward than a lot want to think.

Michigan
Ohio State
Oregon
Washington
USC
Penn State

Is a very solid top 6 schools that I expect to be competing for the playoff every year

Who gives a frick about scenery it’s about quality of living, low taxes, lower cost of living, and great weather. I fly to where I want to go if I want see scenery and the NW is the last place I’d want to go. Enjoy living on your shithole.

So it’s terrible because you disagree with heavy rainfall

I don’t even hate visiting Houston but be a functioning adult and understand Oregon is a great place to live despite Portland on cable news

And it’s not “to each their own” you think arguably the most beautiful state in America is a shithole compared to Houston, Texas.

Being the most lush and green area in the country requires a lot of rainfall

Plenty of affordable areas compared to paying out the arse for a downtown condo in Houston.

Just interesting you find Houston such a safe relaxing, bustling place next to Oregon

People like him have to believe that any “liberal” state is a hell hole they’d be miserable in. They have to justify their own life and choices. They can’t fathom that damn near every place in this country has redeeming qualities. It’s sad really. Just so idiotic to call an entire state a shite hole because Fox News told you so.

Then why was he in Tuscaloosa yesterday? Why did he tell his team that he decided to stay at Oregon in that video he put out.

That’s not something a coach is gonna lie about. I’m pretty sure even the bama guys are admitting he turned it down.

Admit you were wrong

I agree with the OP that Lanning would be stupid to leave Oregon for Bama. It appears he isn't anyway. Smart guy.

Was Dan Lanning in Tuscaloosa? Alabama coaching candidate was home watching Bourne movie

multiple reports emerged stating that Oregon coach Dan Lanning had interviewed in Tuscaloosa for the recently vacated position.

The development was news to many — including Lanning himself.

You people are so god damn delusional

Lol at the thought that Alabama would give the keys of their program to a 37 year old dude with just 2 years HC experience. Dude isn’t going anywhere because he isn’t getting the call.

Dude, he has himself said he was offered the job and turned it down.

Everything you have said is based upon Oregon being one of the top dogs in a crappy conference.

That changes soon. How will they do against schools that actually care about football? Playing three conference games a year or so 1,000 mikes away from home?

We are about to find out how good if a program Oregon really is.
