mintz said saban left a list:

1. lanning
2. lane
3. ryans

lanning had the most momentum. also regurgitated lanning already being in tuscaloosa.

I don’t see why Ryans would leave what he has going on in the NFL. I also heard, but haven’t confirmed, that he actually has a grudge against Bama over how they handled a previous coach. In no way am I saying that is true or would even matter.

Dude's probably going straight to Mt. Hood to ski for a couple of days.

Oregon is a beautiful place. Tuscaloosa would not be my choice between these gigs at this time.

Yep I think they end up with Dabo. Dude would come running down to Tuscaloser and not look back. They will rationalize it as he’s one of them and has a couple natty’s on his resume.

It’s officially raise and contract extension season for the Top 15 CFB Head Coaches! Bama will make a panic hire once a couple more say no. Sit back and enjoy

I don’t know why everybody in the media assumed Lanning after what he said earlier this year. I know plans change, but he seemed very genuine to me when he stated he wanted to raise his family in Oregon. He said he had everything he needed to compete and he wasn’t going anywhere.

Exactly. He was definitely sincere about that. He has young kids and he likes where he is. I never thought he'd change his mind to go to Bama. I'm surprised other people did.

I don’t know why Moscona assumed Lanning would leave Oregon.

Only reason to think he'd leave is because he spent the entirety of his career in the South and maybe felt like a fish out of water in the PNW (similar to how taggart and Cristobal left at the first opportunity they got).

Safe to assume if lanning didn't leave Oregon for bama, he may not leave at all unless he gets the NFL itch.
