They have to though because of the weak conference and no conference championship. They need it for the strength of schedule or perceived SOS. It's the times we live in.

no doubt. SC doesn't really have a choice, especially with the state of the Pac-10

SC's already made it public that we've been having a hard time finding big programs to give us a home and home. I've heard rumbling about an Alabama series possibly being in the works though

actually LSU has home and home in 2018 and 2019 with Oklahoma. Oklahoma has home and home with Ohio State in 2016 and 17

The LSU/Oklahoma matchup is not official through either University or athletic departments.

They went 0-12 this year, bro. If that doesn't define a cupcake, then what does?
History. This record is not typical of Washington. They will not be 0-12 next year. ULL, ULM, Rice, Tulane, UAB, etc. will forever be cupcakes, because they are. And they aren't attached to a serious BCS-type conference, no matter what you think of the Pac 10.

That list of OOC teams seems pretty good.

LSU would likely have beaten Washington, and unless the co-tards issues turns Tepper, there is no reason to think that LSU shouldn't be able to handle Washington next year.

But every other team on that list would have beaten LSU this year. No reason to panic. Seems a decent enough list.

I say we play Toolame (we are contract bound,

a shite La. school (La Tech, ULALALA, ULummm),

a good mid major (TCU, Boise, Fresno, Utah, BYU, USM, Troy...they deserve it)- ALWAYS @ home

and an "early season sponsor game" vs A&M rotated between Houston and New Orleans in the first two years $$$$$$$. Bama and Clemson got rich this year. Just my thoughts.

Washington does this to themselves every year and I don't get it. They have had brutal schedules 3 years in a row now. Thy played Ohio st., OU, and then LSU next year along with good mid-majors like Boise and BYU. When you're that bad, you should at least make sure to win some games

That's a joke right?

Florida vs. Miami
Florida vs. FSU(every year)
Bama vs. Clemson
Bama vs. VT(next year)
UGA vs. GT(every year)
UGA vs. ASU
OM vs. WF
USCe vs. NCSt
USCe vs. Clemson(every year)
UT vs. UCLA and Cal
etc, etc, etc

Are you that stupid? Look at the majority of these game listed. They've been playing each other for 50+ years...Sorry that Tulane got a case of the suck. You do realize they were in the SEC...

ULL is a cupcake. ULM is a cupcake. Rice is a cupcake. Tulane is supposed to be a cupcake. Troy is supposed to be a cupcake. UAB was supposed to be a cupcake. To put Washington in the same class as these real cupcakes is neither accurate nor smart. Washington is not a cupcake.

Yea, 2 wins in 2 years, that's not a cupcake

There's no excuse for App St, Troy, North Texas, and Tulane
Well, Va. Tech stepped up and played us home and home (eventually), so it is absolutely proven that LSU is willing to step up to play major OOC competition. Therefore, there must be a problem with the other teams. Aside from Washington, Arizona State, West Virginia (I guess?) and Oklahoma, apparently the other BCS schools are not willing to step up for the deal Va. Tech did.

Yeah, but you see there was a time when Texas A&M fit that bill and LSU played them every year. Likewise, U of Miami. Then they started winning versus the Tigers, and both series went by the wayside (not that I think it was because they started winning, just changes in direction and scheduling contracts). Anyway, Washington, long term, is no cupcake. They will win again. It's a good addition to the schedule. The others, ULM, ULL, etc. are cupcakes, always were, always will be.
